for Excellence (CFE) home page. This recognition program
is available to both individual clinicians and groups in the
Optum/OHBSC has established CFE in response to requests from members and customers for increased transparency, value and choice within behavioral health services. CFE is driven by input from our National Advisory Council and network clinicians regarding measurement of performance and is guided by current clinical outcomes research. This program reinforces our shared belief that patient outcomes are the most important indicator of quality.
CFE provides you with clinical outcomes data for your practice. There are minimum data thresholds that must be met before data is made available. Requirements include:

Scores and Outcome Data:
CFE scores and associated data are posted to the secure transaction section of Provider Express® for enrolled clinicians and groups who have sufficient data. Data is updated quarterly, and is posted online near the beginning of each quarter. (January, April, October, December). The cut off for data to be included in the quarterly update is the first of the month preceding the quarter (March 1, June 1, September 1 and December 1.) Data submitted in those months will be included in the following quarter's data report. Enrolled clinicians and groups are notified via e-mail when new data is posted. New CFE enrollees will not see data associated with their CFE enrollment until the next data period.

ALERT Online lets you see your clients' progress in treatment. Information from the Wellness Assessments is updated daily in ALERT Online. Log into Provider Express and go to the Provider Reports tab to start monitoring the clinical outcomes of your clients

Data Review Request
You have 60 days from the date the data is posted to request a review. Remember that we will be reporting only on members who have two (or more) Wellness Assessment data points and who entered treatment having global distress factors within the clinical range. This may result in an apparent discrepancy between the number of Wellness Assessments you submitted and the CFE data. You may want to review your data through the ALERT Online tool prior to requesting a review.
